Veronica Medrano Funes, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Born in El Salvador and now a long-time resident of Garden City, Kansas, Veronica Medrano Funes has called this community home for most of her adult life. She began her education at Garden City Community College and went on to earn her Master’s in Nursing from Walden University.

With more than 15 years of experience in nursing, Veronica has worked in diverse areas of healthcare, including community health, family practice, oncology, pediatrics, and emergency medicine—giving her a comprehensive understanding of patient care.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Veronica provides care for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Her approach is centered on collaboration and empowerment, ensuring each patient feels supported and informed throughout their healthcare journey. She values building strong, trusting relationships and respects every individual’s autonomy, values, and personal decisions.
