Kaylee Lopez, LSCSW, LMAC, Therapist

Kaylee Lopez provides behavioral health services in Liberal and has been working in the behavioral health field for approximately seven years. She began her career during her undergraduate studies, working at a crisis center with adults and supporting children on the SED Waiver program. For the past four years, she has practiced as a therapist, helping clients of all ages navigate life's challenges and build on their strengths.

Fun Facts:

• Currently obsessed with Pilates, especially reformer and sculpt Pilates.

• Loves spending time with her husband and daughter when she's away from work.

• Completing her Registered Play Therapist (RPT) program this month.

• Has a special passion for working with children and teenagers ages 4 to 18.

• Loves working with Spanish-speaking clients and helping bridge gaps in access to mental health services in the community.

• Enjoys working with all age groups and does not have a least favorite population.

• Play Therapy, CBT, and EMDR are Kaylee's "secret sauce."

Why Kaylee Loves What She Does: Kaylee is passionate about working with Spanish-speaking clients because she remembers a time when there were very few bilingual therapists available in the area. Being able to provide services in Spanish and increase access to mental health care is especially meaningful to her. She also loves working with children and teenagers, recognizing that they are often misunderstood and may not always have a safe space to express themselves. Helping young people feel seen, understood, and accepted for who they are is one of the most rewarding parts of her work.
