Kaylee Lopez, Therapist

A graduate of Liberal High School, Kaylee attended Seward County Community College and Fort Hays State University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She completed her practicum at Larned State Hospital and says this experience sparked her interest in behavioral health. During her practicum, she was surprised to see Spanish-speaking patients at the hospital not be able to receive services they needed in their native language.

She returned to Liberal in 2021 and worked for a short time in social services, but knew that behavioral health was her passion. She went on
to pursue her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, so that she could provide behavioral health counseling in both Spanish and English.​
