Cameron Brown, PMH, DNP, Therapist

Cameron Brown, PMH DNP, provides psychiatric mental health services in Dodge City and has been working in the mental health field since 2011. Cameron's experience includes work in psychiatric residential treatment facilities and inpatient settings. After becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2022, Cameron joined Genesis Family Health in August 2024 and continues to help patients receive compassionate, evidence-based care.

• Has traveled to the Micronesian Islands.

• Enjoys spending time with family when not at work.

• Especially enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults ages 6 to 25, while welcoming patients across the lifespan.

• Provides medication management and assessments for ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety, PTSD, ODD, substance use disorders, and psychosis.

• Focuses on finding medications that provide the greatest benefit with the fewest side effects.

• Cannot prescribe medication for children under age 6 but can complete assessments for this age group.

• Finds older adults with complex medication regimens (polypharmacy) to be the most challenging population to treat.
